Gifts NOT registering!!!!!!!

I am getting gifts from my allies but they NEVER show up in my item inventory....An example, I have 6 knives in my inventory and I am gifted 9 knives.. that means after I get all my gifts I should have a total of 15 but yet I have the same total of 6.... where did all my knives go? This is also happening to my cement, gas and energy etc.... its almost useless in playing this game... It's sad because I really Love this game even though I only started playing a week ago, I have leveled up quite a bit but after these past 4 days of my gifts going no where I am thinking of not playing this fun game anymore....

Hey BigBlueKrew,

Not everything that shows up in your Inbox is a gift. Some stuff are requests from your allies for help. I assume that what you have seen are requests and not gifts. But that doesn't explain why you don't get supplies and energy.
Have you tried clearing your cache and refreshing after that? How to. (http://forums.digitalchocolate.com/showthread.php?t=18723)
