stop the paratroopers!

Supplies are not important if you are a good strategist however whats more important than that is Energy, I dint spend a single supply barrel while conquering the northern maps on Homeland....

ha that may be true but what else are you gonna put in that space without completely defeating the purpose? more supply drops then what you can collect in a day is completely defeating the purpose in my point of view.

Hrmf. Looks like they ruined the game! I have been having lots of fun and suddenly now the paratroopers start raining down every minute or so, and shooting at my buildings and destroying my drop zones! and I cant do anything else than trying to follow them and destroy, its no fun anymore!!!
I am sooo dissapointed! Why would they do that!?!

This is what I did to solve the paratrooper problem.

I bunched up all my buildings and drop zones (neatly) In the bottom right corner of the map. Now i hardly even see paratroopers and when I do I take them all out with merely a Special Forces unit alone. Also if you had a friend to destroy the enemy drop zone then you wouldn't have to hardly ever worry about paratroopers would you?

Now i hold all my 12+ Tanks, 3 Commandos, 10+ Rocket Batteries, And a few APC I haven't put into the items list yet on the border line of the enemy territory. As soon as i get the cash im gonna get the new area, go into the fire call menu and blow the bloody heck out of crimsons, They ain't nothin' but a bunch of dog blasin'-bush wackin'-dogon sons of kangaroos!

thanks for your ideas now i don't have the problem i just put boot camps,arsenal and motor pool and the odd one spaces between the mountains just put suppy yard instead of drop zones

totally agree, just put landing zones everywhere and leave no empty spots for them to paratroop...

you say you dont have enough to afford all that... then what have you been doing, buying maps everytime you had the money to do so? You should always set up a perimeter after clearing an area and just farm the shit out of it for a while before moving on to the next map...l

Let me make sure I'm reading right, after I complete an area's quests enemies WILL STOP coming? So I can rebuild my island completely before going on?

I've never had issues with the Paratroopers. Sure, after I destroy one landing zone or it's squad I see another, but I've only ever gotten one at a time, and they basically land near the same areas of the map all the time, so I leave a Commando or Tank there to mop them up if I can't have allies do it. If anything, my problem with this game is Energy to Supply Ratio, I waste almost 2/3 of my Energy every time just to get all my supplies I ordered.

Now it is not a problem at homeland but at the new winter maps I waited minutes for my turn to attack and move but the paratroopers keep on coming I can't stop all of them if it takes like minutes for my turn to attack now they are paratrooping the bulldozers even if I build up my defenses they will destroy it there is more space for the paratrooper to land down

If paratroopers are literally raining on you every few minutes, you may want to report that. It's a sign of broken gameplay.

It is the slow turns make me think that they rain every few minutes

i ended up placing mines on all the squares, to they only rain in with the guys that are coming down from the top, i did the same thing in the desert and in the main land to stop there drop zones
