In the end who will save mankind from the Zombie Apocalypse?
It is our belief that artists, designers, and architects will need to weigh in heavily to provide Safe Houses that can stand an assault on civilization. Don’t be caught unprepared, sign up today and register for the Zombie Lane Safe House Competition, you may be our last hope.

Competition Guidelines:

Read the guidelines completely to make sure you will be able to get the reward in case you win.

This competition is a forum competition with in game rewards and it is about best house fortifications and the winner will be the one with the most protected and original house. Jobs will be evaluated against originality and safety.

Feel free to post screenshots from the game or bring pictures from movies and even draw and post it. Screenshots from other games are not allowed and will be removed from the competition and deleted.

When posting a screenshot please leave Facebook ID/Google Plus ID/Dchoc ID for the team to know where to send the rewards and also post your item. Those who do not post ID will not get the reward in case they win.

The rewards will be as follows:

• First place: Cash item of choice + 30 Cash
  
  
• Second place: 40 Cash
  
  
• Third place: 30 Cash

Others competitors will also get something.


Minimal amount of participants is 20. Competition duration is 6 weeks and in the end of those 6 weeks the voting will begin for the most protected house.
The competition will end on the 28th of March.

What if the participans are't more than 20? the competiton is invalid?

Nope we need a MINIMUM of 20 of participants or more (and I hope so!) better!

I finally found the perfect place for my house On the one side, there are mountains, which can be crossed only by professional alpinists.
Naturally, there is a mountain river with rapids. If you try to cross it, river will simply wash your ten kilometers away, and it is far enough for me.
Need to close one more side and we have a "safe triangle".

Update I found a couple of rhinos at the zoo. If feed them regularly they will not go away. Are intelligent enough, not to go in the direction of rubble. And have a nasty habit of attacking anything that enters their territory.

The first line of defense
Trash, rubble, old car, logs... here you throw everything you find. This will not stop the zombies, but it will slow them down. I hope that zombi will choose an easier way and go elsewhere.
They chose harder way... bear traps, in time will learn to fix, so you can use them forever.

Second line of defense
barbed wire often use the First World War, impassable unless you use shears and tanks. But suppose that really big horde could break through.

Time to panic I do not see how they could break through this defense, but better safe than sorry.

House is surrounded by water. Turn on generator and put the wire into the water, it will slow them down.
When things get ugly, increase generator to maximum, it will burn the zombies, but will not last long.

House is on the pillars, so zombies can not surprise me entering through the window. There is only one entrance, which can be easily blocked. The whole house is one hallway. If they break through, can not surround me. It also has plenty of windows, so I can see what is happening out there and plan further fight.
If all else fails, on the roof is hilihopter, which can fly to the top of mountain.
There can plan a counter attack, because safer place of this I will not find.


Mountain house Just an ordinary cottage and warehouse. Here, keep the food that has a long duration (expiry date), ammunition and everything I did not need for everyday use.
As I have said, here can climb only professional alpinists. The only reason why I do not use this place as a base: it is difficult at this altitude to grow food.
And of course, ski lifts connects the mountain with the main house.
