Hi guys, I have great news to share!

Thanks to the help of many community members and the work of Luck Norris crew during months, finally the cheat that allowed to use more than 5 workers at the same time in a planet or colony will be blocked very soon.

Internally we have it being tested, so it's very likely that you'll see it blocked in the next game update, although that may change depending on circumstance.

What does the above mean? I thought the more than 5 worker hack was fixed months ago as you stated a long time ago. Oh wait...it wasn't patched after all!

A simple back end server validation check for a value higher than 5 in the worker value slot would fix that and here you are telling us that finally will be blocked very soon. I've come to learn from experience that very soon in DC terminology means months. Then, you even go further trying to cover all angles and state, "although that may change depending on circumstance". Let me think...What might be the circumstances? Not capable of delivering results.

It can happen with a bug in the replay that doesn't replay all the attack, or an issue when saving the state of your planet/colony after the attack.

Come on Chico. This was not a replay issue at all as it was just a screenshot of my planet completely destroyed as soon as I logged on. Furthermore, it's not an issue with the saving state of my planet either. This I say because my planet/colonies have been attacked numerous times by legitimate players and when they are able to completely destroy everything, most of the mines are detonated too. Normally, only a few out of the total 35 mines will remain intact. In this case, I didn't have to replace a single mine. Coincidence? ... I think not. The video clearly shows nothing should have been destroyed in the first place, yet everything except the personnel mines were destroyed.

We're investigating if this is the reason, or if the new super soldier version works for real, because we know they "released" it. Even if we're pretty sure that it isn't possible to do it using the old way in all its variations. Who knows, maybe they found another different way to get the same results. But we still didn't found it.

I'll keep you updated about it as soon as I get news to share.

Investigate all you want. I've been on vacation for the past week and this 2 person alliance declared war on our alliance and both are hackers. I just saw the last video of many attacks they did when I wasn't able to log on. I'm here to tell you and your developers the New Super Soldier has arrived faster than your developers were able to patch a simple more than 5 worker hack. Your developers should be ashamed of their lack in ability to quickly deal with the huge hacker problem they have. I'm more inclined to believe they just don't care!!!

I don't have time right now to record the video, change the format to MP4 to decrease it in file size, upload the video to a hosting site, gather the hackers information, and to finally post the information in the Report a Cheater thread. Wow...that's a lot of work I shouldn't even have to do if your developers were effective! I guess I will have to take some time out tomorrow yet again to report another hacker.

HI Chico!!!... you just have to ban all youtube videos that teaching how to hack chips, coins, minerals, 99 workers, 0.1 sec building time/upgrading, 99 star battery, 99 nukes, 99 airstrike and more hacking stuff!

i also hate cheaters..cheater is like someone get lazy playing and just using cheat tool and to get higher lvl, money, or something..if you are not cheater like me then we are the one who want to play very very fair..so we have to stop all cheater or just delete some file that is cheating tool and and more soe cheating stuff!..i've got trick by some people and he destroy my planet and get my money and minerals but he already added me but i already delete him and block...cuz he said he will always help me...so i will never believe him again...so beware of tricker and cheater.....i dont want to tell his name cuz i foorrget...

last month i have a war with cheater alliance. He is using super bunker. No. of collosus in his bunker is more than 20. Then I reported to chico. his account was banned for two week. not only that, all his mineral tower, compact house, bank, and silo back to lvl 1 but his star base, warp gate, military and turrets level do not change. Yesterday, I checked again his base. What I found is he still using hack.

Server side checks is the only possible solution, as it has already been done with the workers cheat.

Encrypting the communication won't work, it will only delay SOME cheats until someone decompiles the client and finds out the method used to obfuscate the packets.
Anyway, this suggested encryption won't make any difference, because most cheats are NOT man-in-the-middle kind of "attacks", but rather they hack the flash memory changing variable values... and then use the same communication channel between the game client and the server.

So the workers cheat is fixed forever. Now they have to do the same with the rest...

The workers cheat has been fixed forever before. Based on that experience, I now know that the exact length of forever is two weeks.

Edit: It was a PM so I'm not going to share details, but if what was said is true, I may in fact eat my words. To be honest, this is one of those few times where I'm actually hoping to be proved wrong. The sooner all these cheaters are taken care of, the sooner we can all get back to blowing each other up!

When are the hacked stats going to stop, The problems with these hacked stats are ridiculous. People have a system view of planets that say they have a level 8 base when in fact they have a level 4 base with colossus and zepplins. Then when you take out their starbase you only get 5000 experience. That is no level 8 starbase. Or the guys who have a system view of a planet that has a level 5 starbase and they have colossus in their gates and bunkers. When do you foresee this getting fixed?
