Default spawning mobs in red area?

Some help here, I don't know how this person did it but he managed to get a wasp in a red zone at the back of my base. Is this some glitch?

    Hi,

Attackers can spawn troops outside of your building limitations. This helps make you think more strategic in your building placement, knowing that troops can come from offsides.

Strategy? the only way i would buy that excuse would be if we were told up front that it could happen. Since we're not I think it's a poor reason to give. I was initiating said strategy by using the red area/forest as extra walls/protection since we only get 10 wall blocks to start with. It took many attacks to figure out how i was being attacked since it only replys the last one. If you want to back up that reasoning then add an info sheet on attacks/defense so we know what to expect. Or else any strategies we imploy are useless until tested by us thus figuring out where the rules fall. luv u still tho!

As i tried, its not possible to spawn units outside of your Zone. Its just, if there is 1 area not build, if the attackers trys 100times, he can spawn an unit there ;P

You are fighting on a world defending a base on it. I would have thought it clear attacks could come from anywhere, it's just the base area that's limited.

Well I'm level 29 now but in the beginning I figured everything within the red was the play area, where we couldn't go was marked with red. Even when I attacked others I couldn't put my guys in their red zones. It wasn't until I saw someone find the tiniest little spot on a reply that i realized it could happen at all.
I checked the area on my base and it seemed impossible, but next time I attacked I hit everywhere on their line (if their base is back against the redline) continuously and eventually they magically get threw, sometimes only two every couple taps even. So since its hard to do, only works in very small isolated spots and not every time... it does seem a little glichy to me. lol But that's just me, I use it to my advantage now that I know. I love how this game is constantly evolving, I learn something new everytime time I log in! lol Keeps ya on ur toes

Am I the only one who read the in-game FAQ? It tells you in there that you can be attacked from beyond the boundary, which is why I never wasted my time building right up against the edge.

It's not a bad idea to build near edge as you limit the drop points you can be attacked from but just don't rely on the red zones
