I can't promise it 100% and can't say when it's going to be ready because we still don't know it and have planned a lot of things before. But yes, it's something we have planned for the long term.
Somewhere in the future (seems that you'll need to wait some few months) we plan to able you to relocate your colony. We still have to design the feature, but I personally assume that it will have some kind of limitation to avoid abuse (to move it near to your victim to reduce unit shipment costs, to attack him and to move far away just after the attack, etc).

I normally play this game 14 or more hours per day, some days I've even hit 20 hours or better.. Today we started a new war and with the changes in training ques and ability to have trained troops ready I have attacked from all 12 of my planets and now I'm all done for several hours at which time I can come back for a few moments, que up more troops and go away again for several more hours. It is my estimate with doing upgrades and such that my normal playing time in this game due to the troop limitations will now go from around 14 plus hours playing per day to more like around 3 or 4 hours per day if I don't decide to stop playing it entirely. I don't really care for games where the object of the game seems to be more sit around and wait than constant action. Hey, but then I do try to look at the bright side of things, it gives me a lot more time away from the computer or even to play other games that don't have these types of restrictions.

After the changes it takes (or should take if you don't have a bug) exactly the same time as before to have the warpgates full to do an attack. So the timing between attacks, the damage done, and the units sent there is the same. Just changes one thing : that you'll have to come back to the game more frequently to start training more units.
So now you won't have to wait more. Instead, you'll have to play more often and to wait less for the next action when setting up an attack.
And glen30458, we always are happy to see passionate players like you and we appreciate a lot your support, but please sleep more! It isn't good to play that much, and remember that there are a lot of things more, like the family, the friends, the work/school, other hobbies, etc.

Maybe if it was size 15 and took half as much time to build it'd be more useful but right now this thing is fragile, obsolete the second a more effective unit is available, and on top of that it came alongside a foolhardy change to queue spaces that makes building large numbers of them even more difficult. Even as a distraction they don't seem to function that well.
Thanks for the feedback, we'll consider it for possible future tweaks. Do anyone else have more feedback about the S-Trike unit? A low level player, maybe?

Can you comment on the recent building queue timing changes not specifically mentioned in the change logs? Could that be just a bug, caused by the queue size reduction change?
Hi Norb!
I mentioned that:
"Reduced training capacity in Factory, Training camp and Starport, for the units whose training started after the game update. The training buildings built after the update have 3 locked training slots instead of 2."
I'm sorry if I didn't explained it very well, I had a very limited info when wrote it. Now I have more details.
The warp gates capacity and the time needed to train all the units to fill it is the same than before, so your attacks are exactly as powerful as then. But now the number of units in each training slot is smaller, which means that even if you'll be able to attack with the same frequency and number of units in each attack as before, you'll have to visit the training buildings more frequently to start training more units. Now simply you can start training less units in a row.
This is applied for the units started to be trained after the update, in order to avoid loose units that were being trained during the update. Regarding the locked slots, before the update the new training buildings had 2 or the 4 slots locked. And now they have 3 of the 4 slots locked. Obvioulsy the ones who already unlocked slots using chips should remain them unlocked after the update.
If it doesn't work in this way, then it should be a bug and I encourage you a submit a ticket to Customer Support or Premium Support if it affects to the chips stuff.
We've been listening the feedback about the game update, and early next week the devteam will discuss internally about the training related recent changes and possible related future actions.
Hope it helps.
Best,
-Chico
